france vs uruguay world cup 2010 first round

After awaiting a very long term, the FIFA World Cup 2010 France vs uruguay in Cape Town Stadium on Friday June 11th 2010 on taking the decision of the FIFA President is going to appear in South Africa with their root Squads. We know this is an exciting game all over the world . The only 32 teams are participating in the World Cup. All teams are divided into 8 groups entitled as A,B,C,D,F,G,H and I. The first Group of the World Cup always remain more exciting than others till the match begins. Group A is the first group of the tournament including the teams South Africa, Mexico, France and Uruguay. The first match of Group-A will be held between South Africa and Mexico and the second match of the 1st day between France and Uruguay.

Among the two matches, I know that the second match between France and Uruguay will be very exciting as both the teams are the former world cup champions. France has won one title under the head coach Aimé Jacquet by the captain Didier Deschamps in 1998. Uruguay has won the two titles under the head coach Alberto Suppici and Juan López by the captains José Nasazzi and Obdulio Varela in 1930 and 1950. Both teams will be vying to win the first match, as it will set the pace up for the upcoming matches.

France is an excellent team and has the big history in the football World cup. In this tournament, France is very favourite because they have a good squad having the best players as Their trump card is Bayern Munich's Frank Ribery who trickery can turn any match. Up front France cans on Thierry Henry of Barcelona and the underrated Nicolas Anelka. They will still call upon another player Djbril Cisse whose last World Cup was cut short because of breaking his leg in a warm up match. Sidney Govou and the youngster André-Pierre Gignac provide useful attacking understudies.

Match Schedule:
Cape Town, South Africa
Match scheduled:
11-06-2010
from 18:30 until 20:30GMT

In the midfield, they may struggle with a great Yoann Gourcuff to lead the midfield with Jérémy Toulalan who will play instead of replacing Makele. Toulalan is one of the few French good players who plays well every match with his performance. Defensively France look as strong as anyone with William Gallas leading the back line that includes Manchester United's solid Patrick Evra and Arsenal's Bac Sagna and Gael Clichy.

Uruguay is also an excellent team as Coach Oscar Washington Tabarez has only picked 26 players in his preliminary squad and he has highlighted the limited number of world class performers at his disposal. He is depending on the twin strike force of Atletico Madrid's Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez of Ajax. Both players have an amazing goalscoring record in domestic football. Forlan has 66 goals in 102 games for Atletico while Suarez has hit a remarkable 74 gosls in only 97 appearances for Ajax.

In this team, centre halves Martin Caceres of Juventus and skipper Diego Lugano are both decent players. Lugano playing his club football in Turkey with Galatasaray, is one of the good striking players of Uruguay.

World cup France vs uruguay As we think that Uruguay can’t come to the world cup Squad for many years, from that consideration, France is stronger than Uruguay and is in the world cup Squad for many years in turn. As Uruguay has a record to win the two titles of the world cup, they keep the ability to defeat any team in anytime in turn. Although France has a record to win the world cup, Hugo Lloris the Les Blues goalkeeper has warned his team members that Uruguay is a strong team and they shouldn't be taken lightly. This is what he had to say, "We know them, they are clever in front of goal, far or near. But it is not just these two players (Forlan and Suarez). We must remain conscious of the whole Uruguay team. We have a chance to win today’s match France vs uruguay because of our good squad.

The team performance was judged the best among the opening games by FIFA president Sepp Blatter. Luca Toni added two more goals in the second half (59' and 69'). In the semi-final, Italy beat host country Germany 2–0 with the two goals coming in the last two minutes of extra time. After an exciting, back-and-forth half hour of extra time during which Gilardino and Zambrotta struck the post and the crossbar.
